Virtual Tutoring Sessions
All you have to do is get your child logged on for their lesson. They can learn without having to disrupt your daily routine or add driving/waiting time to your schedule.

Multisensory and Interactive
Even though our lessons take place on Zoom, your child will enjoy a hands-on experience very similar to in-person learning with a kit of materials sent to your home before we begin. They will be an active participant in each lesson, not just watching and listening.

Client Packages
Small Group Reading Instruction
- Kids are placed in a group of 2-4 kids at the same stage of reading
- I send them a kit of hands-on materials that we will use during our classes
- We meet live on Zoom two days per week
- I teach all of the content to make up their core reading instruction. This fully replaces all other phonics or reading curriculum that a parent might do on their own
- At the end of each lesson I post a recap for parents so they know what I taught and how I explained everything for consistency’s sake
- I then provide detailed assignments and instructions on Google Classroom for parents to practice and reinforce the concepts in the days until our next set of lessons. Parents never have to teach new concepts on their own.
- Kids earn stickers as we go and I mail them on reusable sticker paper every few weeks so they are still sticky for the kids to use at home.
- Parents have access to me for questions and support throughout the week.
1:1 Intensive Reading Intervention
- This option includes everything listed in the small group course delivered in a highly individualized 1:1 format.
- Every lesson is 100% tailored to individual needs.
A Splash of Summer Reading
- Small group of 5-7 kids
- Review and practice of skills, not new instruction or intervention
- 8 weeks, 1 hour each week
- Hands-on materials sent to the home
- Google classroom assignments and activities provided
How does it work?

In our initial 15 minute meeting we will get to know each other and I’ll learn about your child’s specific situation. Think of it like “Meet the Teacher Night” before a new school year. Then, should you choose, I’ll send a contract right over. If there is a waiting list, you will not have to sign a contract until I have an opening for you.
*I will do a series of baseline assessments with your child.
Our first few sessions will be assessments that tell me exactly what your child knows well and what they need to know next. This enables me to start them at just the right spot and fill in any gaps they may have in their learning.

After assessments, I’ll formulate a plan for instruction that is perfect for your child and meet with you again to discuss our next steps.
FAQ
What happens if I miss a session?
If you must miss a session you will be sent a recording of the lesson that day. All activities and assignments will still be available on Google Classroom.
When does the program start and how long does it last?
We start the first week of September and go through the end of May.
How do I make payments?
Invoices are sent monthly and each month is paid in advance. For example. the payment for September will be due in August.
What is the multisensory kit?
The multisensory kit is included in your tuition. The kit includes all of the hands-on elements that I would normally use to teach in my classroom. You will receive the high quality materials before we begin our sessions. Your child will use the various materials as needed during our lessons to be fully interactive and low-tech.
Do I have to sit with my child during the lesson?
Here’s the thing. You know your child best. Some kids might NEED a grown up sitting in arms reach to keep them in front of the screen. I get it. If your child doesn’t need you to be that close, you are welcome to go about your business and leave them to work with me. It is important that you keep them in view at all times and are available to assist if they are having a technical glitch or something of that nature.
